The National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) is an old organization that is dedicated to inform the public about insurance, consumer protection issues, and protect the pubic interest as well as support and improve the state regulation of insurance.

NAIC.org is a very supportive website that is easy to navigate. They have information available for almost all consumers and small businesses, with links to each state’s insurance department website.
