Aggieland’s Parents Weekend

This weekend, April 17-19, is Parent’s Weekend 2009. Parent’s Weekend is a long standing tradition at Texas A&M University, with events like Midnight Yell, Maroon and White football game, and tent sales in every other parking lot on Texas Avenue. This three-day event showcases what Texas A&M is all about and is an opportunity for the parents of Texas A&M students to experience the Bryan/College Station Area.
Another big thing about Parent’s Weekend is that college students look at homes or new places to live for the upcoming school year. Parents are always eager to look at the new homes (apartments, townhomes, houses, etc…) that their children have picked out or are excited to help their kids find a place. Prepare to be busy, this is the weekend to sell student living!!!

Bryan/College Station Tax Day Tea Party

Each year on April 15th, the infamous event known as “tax day”, communities all over the United States rally together to have what is called a “Tax Day Tea Party”, where citizens unite, protest, and send a powerful message to the government, local and federal.
This year, the Bryan/College Station Tea Party was held at Tanglewood Park in Bryan and was a huge success! The community event hosted several guest speakers as well as many passionate citizens of the B/CS area.

The Barracks Open House!

The Barracks Luxury Student Townhomes is having an open house on Thrusday, April 16th, from 4-7 p.m.! There will be food from On The Border as well as wine, beer, and margaritas. Come by and join us for drinks or a tour! Model homes just opened this Monday, April 6th, so feel free to stop by and check them out!

Century 21’s Easter Egg Hunt!

This past Saturday, April 4th, Century 21 Beal, Inc. had an Easter Egg Hunt for realtors, office staff, and clients. The hunt was a great success! I had the honor of being the Easter Bunny this year, which was so much fun! A big thank you goes out to all who came out and I look forward to seeing you again next year!
